Nike, the brand who's a perfect representation of global culture

For my blog, I chose to talk about Nike because it is the most sold brand in the world today. Nike was created in 1962 by Bill Bowerman and today, Nike is present in more than 190 countries, has created hundreds of thousands products, and achieved a turnover of more than 35 billion euros in 2018.  

Several elements explains the success of Nike in the world, like the naming: Nike which means the Greek goddess, the slogan: "just do it" which is today one of the slogans the most easily identifiable,
its logo which is recognized all over the world, but also these numerous partnerships with the biggest stars in the world, as with Michael Jordan, which has been a huge success in the United States, or with Cristiano Ronaldo in Europe.

All these elements have allowed Nike to win in all countries but also in all sports: football, basketball, running, voleyball, american football, tennis, swimming... but also to be established in other areas than sports, such as streetwear, or lifestyle where nike is 
more and more present.

In conclusion, we can see that thanks to these elements, everyone present in globalization recognize the brand nike. Nike is  the perfect example of global culture.

  1. I also find that Nike is a very good example of global culture because it's a brand that has succeeded in establishing itself as a world leader, while adapting to the company as the years go by. The brand has established itself in all countries, and in all sports.The brand has always kept its values which are equality and the fight against racism. This allowed him to win the trust and respect of consumers, whatever their origin.
