Football is the most popular sport in the world. Football has become an entertainment show. This sport is a real industry totally integrated with capitalism. But football still has a lot of popularity.
Football, being the most popular sport, brings together all the world, whether it is at the World Cup or at major international matches. Indeed, or that one goes in the world, all the world or almost have already heard spoken of Lionel Messi or Christiano Ronaldo.
Football brings together all world cultures all origins, all types of people without discrimination. More and more football is trying to promote values of respect because football stars have a certain influence on the young children of the world.
If I chose to talk about football and the World Cup, it's because this sport is part of my passions, it brings together the world and all cultures. Many people will move from one country to another to attend an international football match. These people will then exchange with different languages, expose their football cultures, share their passions around the world.

So yes football is popular, there is star influence against racism, the presence of captain’s armbands against racism as your picture but I find that racism is still very much present and a lot of discrimination
