Music Festival is a Global Culture

Music festivals have come a long way since the psychedelic wig-outs of the '60s. These days, there's a festival for everyone, even if you've shunned most annual mud-fests in the past because you dance to disco and you don't like rock. Beyond the traditional london, UK and european festivals there are fantastic international events from California's very Instagram-friendly Coachella to Japan's fabulous Fuji Rock, which prides itself on being the 'cleanest festival in the world'. Here are 50 music festivals to try before you die.

Tomorrowland is more than just a music festival. It’s a camping experience, a foodie heaven, and a worldwide community. 185,000 people from over 75 countries around the world were in attendance, with 35,000 of them staying in Dreamville.

The first section contains the elements necessary for establishing the “identity card” of a festival: status, locality, season dates, age, and audience. This part is also concerned with a festival’s strategic, artistic, and cultural practices.

Musical style is closely related to the age of a festival, the number of audience members, budget size, and the number of days during which a festival is held.

  1. I agree with this post, all around the world the music is a grouping source.

In fact, like the post say, music has evolved and festivals evolved too. There are more and more people who go to festivals because the atmosphere is crazy and you could meet a lot of people. Furthermore, in a festival, everyone is kind and tries to talk to you and, depends where you are, a lot of festivals bring people all around the world, Tomorrowland is an example. Whatever your age, whatever your musical tastes you could find a place to go and party. We can see with the graphic that here, in France, there are 92 legal festivals and the second graphic show us that we really have a big choice of what style we want to listen.

Finally, I want to say that this article is a good example of global culture and show the multicultural aspect of festivals because it shows that there are festivals all around the world.
