Basketball and the culture !
To my mind, basketball has, like football, an important place in mind of most people who are passionate about sports. Certainly, unlike football, it's not practiced in all the countries of our planet (when we think about football, we talk about Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr,....) but lot of people loves playing it because they want to look like NBA stars such as Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James or simply, they want to discover the enjoyments that this sport provides. To play together is a very good way to create and develop of the social link. Many events with charitable title are organized (like NBA All Star Game) with the aim of bringing a support, showing some human principles such as unity, peace or equality and also changing the mentality. Basketball has many benefits and one of these is to gather the peoples around a common passion.
A lot of values are transmitted with basketball like fighting against racism, fighting against the war and conflicts. Now, populations include better why many players and people adore playing it. They don't play for the glory and trophies but because this sport helps to bring together, develop links with people coming from different cultures and also to promote human values. I know this sport well because I practiced and studied it in sports University last year.
This sport that was invented by James Naismith in 1891 in the Masachussets (USA ) grew quickly and created social link between the population.
basketball is a sport that is committed to values of sharing, tolerance and mutual help.
famous players such as Mickael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Lebron James today have made people to love basketball and fight against racism.
I think this sport brings people together, par example
in France or in other countries, you have outdoor courts where you can play with your friends or strangers to have a good time
