Are we live in global culture 

The most exported songs in France and in the world are for the most part American. It was from the 1920s that the United States, now the world's leading power, began exporting their musical styles and culture. The musical styles peculiar to America first spread in Europe and then in the world.

Since its inception, rap has always been criticized. For politicians, rap is certainly provocative of different urban violence. Except young people, everyone believes that rap is synonymous with violence

Hip-hop is a cultural and artistic movement that appeared in New York in the United States in the South Bronx in the early 1970s. It is a popular street dance. In 1979, SugarHill Gang's Raper's Delight title became the first rap hit in the world and especially in France where the Hip-Hop movement touched the youth of the cities. Hip hop culture arrived in France in November 1982, about ten years after its appearance in the United States, with the New York City Rap European tour. In 1984, with the law authorizing free radio, the French became acquainted with foreign musical news. TV shows like Hip-Hop, presented by Sidney, are emerging. This sudden mediatization envy the French who put themselves to this style first through the dance.

The most affected by this Americanization of lifestyles are undoubtedly young people who identify more easily with this more contemporary culture than that of France. The influence of the USA still continues today for example through the "hits" in music which young people are very fond of. These musics convey messages, norms and behaviors that influence young people, positively or negatively. Nowadays, music originating from the USA has a strong impact on young people who are inspired by it as a way of life.
